Aquage Finishing Spray is a fast-drying, fine-mist, firm-hold hairspray that delivers long-lasting style retention, yet brushes through easily. It seals the cuticle to provide excellent humidity resistance and creates a smooth surface that reflects light, giving your style brilliant shine as you build hold.

WHEN TO USE IT

This powerful finishing tool is designed for use on dry, freshly-styled hair. We recommend creating the base for your style with your favorite Aquage styling product. Follow with the appropriate Aquage Texturizing product for the level of texture you want to achieve. Then complete your look with Finishing Spray – the ideal finishing touch for creating hold, polish and shine.

HOW MUCH TO USE

It depends on how long and how thick your hair is plus the amount of hold desired. Always spray from at least 8-10 inches away to achieve maximum performance.

WHEN TO USE IT

We recommend that you spray Aquage Uplifting Foam onto freshly shampooed, toweled dried hair and that you comb through from roots to ends to insure even product distribution.

HOW MUCH TO USE

Spray generously to towel dried hair. We recommend that you spray extra Uplifting Foam on the root are to increase the level of lift and volume away from the head. Once plenty of foam is applied to the root area, comb through with a fine toothcomb to insure even product distribution through the mid-shaft and onto the ends. Proceed to style, lifting the hair away from the head as you blow-dry with your favorite Aquage styling brush.

HOW TO USE IT

When blow-drying to build volume, we recommend that you concentrate drying individual sections, beginning at the root area and that you lift the hair away from the head until you create the level of volume that you desire in the root area. Then continue working your way toward the ends until the entire section is dry. When all your sections are completed, brush through to blend the sections and create fluidity in your design.

WHEN TO USE IT

Primarily we recommend using Aquage Transforming Paste on dry hair that’s been styled with your favorite Aquage Styling product. After you’ve achieved the desired base for your style, Transforming Paste creates separation and random texture. A secondary use is on short, textured cuts—use Transforming Paste on wet hair and either allow the hair to dry naturally or tousle dry using your fingers and a blow dryer to create maximum separation and randomness.

It depends on how thick your hair is and on how much texture you want to achieve. Transforming Paste is a powerful product, so we recommend starting with a small amount and re-applying as needed. It’s important to always apply in pea-sized increments and thoroughly emulsify the product in your palms and between your fingers before applying to the hair. Your hands become a “styling glove” allowing you to transform your hair’s natural texture.

HOW TO USE IT

Be sure Aquage Transforming Paste is evenly distributed on your palms and between your fingers. Run it through your hairstyle directing your fingers from roots to ends. Continue to re-apply until you feel you have enough product in the hair to create the desired level of texture. For maximum randomness, separation and definition, flip your head upside down and tousle dry with your blow drier set on high heat and high air. This allows strands to form and create maximum texture.

HOW MUCH TO USE

Apply Aquage Defining Gel in quarter-sized amounts. Thoroughly emulsify in your palms and between your fingers before applying to the hair. Comb through with a fine toothcomb to insure even product distribution. After the initial application run your fingers through the hair to evaluate product coverage and reapply as needed. On curly hair, there is no such thing as too much Defining Gel. Usually most customers never apply enough. It is important to thoroughly saturate each strand for ultimate definition and control.

HOW TO USE IT

After the hair is thoroughly saturated with Aquage Defining Gel, comb through evenly from roots to ends with a fine tooth-comb to achieve even product distribution. Switch to a large-tooth-comb to create the level of strand definition that you desire. Once you have created the ideal level of definition on wet hair begin to dry hair using your blow dryer and a cup style diffuser gently until all of the curls are dry. Avoid touching or scrunching strands while you are drying to avoid creating frizz. Wait until the hair is totally dry before touching it with your fingers.

Be sure to spray on both sides of the section to ensure an even level of hold.
