WHAT IT IS

Aquage Defining Gel is a flexible hold gel designed to unite strands, control curl, define texture and eliminate frizz without weighting the hair down. It’s designed to be used on wet hair to either dry with a diffuser or to allow the hair to dry naturally. It provides your curls ultimate hold and control leaving strands with a high gloss finish.

WHEN TO USE IT

We recommend that you apply Aquage Defining Gel on freshly shampooed, evenly wet hair and that you comb through thoroughly from roots to ends for even product distribution.

HOW MUCH TO USE

Apply Aquage Defining Gel in quarter-sized amounts. Thoroughly emulsify in your palms and between your fingers before applying to the hair. Comb through with a fine toothcomb to insure even product distribution. After the initial application run your fingers through the hair to evaluate product coverage and reapply as needed. On curly hair, there is no such thing as too much Defining Gel. Usually most customers never apply enough. It is important to thoroughly saturate each strand for ultimate definition and control.

HOW TO USE IT

After the hair is thoroughly saturated with Aquage Defining Gel, comb through evenly from roots to ends with a fine tooth-comb to achieve even product distribution. Switch to a large-tooth-comb to create the level of strand definition that you desire. Once you have created the ideal level of definition on wet hair begin to dry hair using your blow dryer and a cup style diffuser gently until all of the curls are dry. Avoid touching or scrunching strands while you are drying to avoid creating frizz. Wait until the hair is totally dry before touching it with your fingers.
